What We Cannot Help With

Some questions are outside what we can answer. We are an information site, not a service shop. We cannot help with:

Booking an inspection. We do not run an inspection station. Find a licensed shop near you.
Vehicle problems. If your car has an issue, talk to a mechanic.
Tickets or citations. For ticket questions, contact the court that issued the ticket, or talk to a lawyer.
Registration help. The NY DMV handles all registration questions.
Legal advice. We are not lawyers. For real legal questions, talk to one.

Response Time

We are a small team and we do this between other projects. Expect a reply within a few business days for most emails. Quick corrections and easy questions usually get a faster reply. Long or complicated questions may take a little longer.

If you do not hear back within a week, please send a follow-up. Sometimes emails get caught in spam filters.

Where We Are Based

NYAutoInspection.com is based in Syracuse, New York. We are right in the middle of the state we cover, which we like. Being in Syracuse means we are close to drivers in Central NY, the Finger Lakes, the North Country, and the Mohawk Valley. We also stay in touch with what is happening in NYC, Long Island, and the rest of the state.

Even though we are local to Syracuse, this site is for every driver in New York State.

A Note on Spam

If you are sending a sales pitch, a SEO offer, or "guest post" requests, please save your time and ours. We delete those without reading them. Real questions from real drivers always get a reply.
